Zeekr's New Pure Electric Midsize SUV on 800V Platform

Media has recently exposed a set of road test spy photos of a new SUV from the Zeekr brand. Combined with previous news, this vehicle is the brand-new pure electric midsize SUV, code-named CX1E, built on the PMA2+ platform. In terms of the market, its pricing is expected to be in the 200,000-300,000 RMB range, with main competitors being models like the Xingtu Star Epoch ET, Zhiji LS6, and Tengshi N7.

The test vehicle currently exposed is still in the strict camouflage road test phase, and detailed information is not yet visible. However, from the overall outline of the vehicle, this is a standard midsize SUV with a front face that may continue the Hidden Energy design language of the Zeekr 007, featuring simple and avant-garde lines that highlight the technological theme of electric vehicles.

Referring to the Zeekr 007 model on the same platform, this SUV, code-named CX1E, is expected to be built on an 800V high-voltage electrical platform. The low configuration will use a rear axle permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power of 310kW, equipped with a SiC silicon carbide electric control unit, which has a performance and energy efficiency that stand out among the same type. The high configuration will also have an additional induction asynchronous motor on the front axle, which will also have a performance of "breaking 100" in less than 4 seconds.

For the battery part, it is highly likely to still be the Kirin battery provided by CATL, with two capacities of 75kWh and 100kWh. The rear-wheel drive ultra-long endurance version's CLTC pure electric range may exceed 800km, and with an 800V ultra-fast charging pile, the range can increase by 240km after 5 minutes of charging.
