Recently, we have learned from relevant channels that the Zeekr brand plans to launch six new models within three years. In addition to the Zeekr MIX that has already been unveiled this year, a medium-sized SUV with the code name CX1E will also be launched. Its code name is similar to Zeekr 007 (CS1E), and it can be understood as the SUV version of Zeekr 007.
Product Line-Up
- 2024: CX1E - A medium-sized SUV expected to target the mainstream consumer market.
- 2025: EX1E (Large SUV), DX1E, CC1E (Zeekr 007 Travel Edition) - Three new models are expected to be launched.
- 2026: Beluga (MPV) and Grampus (SUV) - Two new models with unique code names are planned for release.
Technical Specifications
The upcoming CX1E is expected to be co-produced with the Lynk & Co 09 during the ramp-up period. Once the ramp-up is successful, the Lynk & Co 09 will be moved out to make room for the full production capacity of Zeekr CX1E. The new model will feature an 800V architecture and high-performance silicon carbide motors, offering both lithium iron phosphate and ternary lithium battery packs with a range that may exceed 700km.
Design and Features
Spy shots suggest that the Zeekr CX1E will adopt the new family face design from Zeekr 007, featuring a simple and technologically rich appearance, with the iconic smart light curtain likely to be equipped.
Future Models
The Zeekr 007 Travel Edition, with the code name CC1E, is expected to have an 800V architecture, offering both rear-wheel drive with a single motor and all-wheel drive with dual motors. It will be equipped with either lithium iron phosphate or ternary lithium battery packs, with a range of 600-800km. The vehicle will have a more elongated body and larger cargo space based on the design of Zeekr 007.
Regarding the suspected EX1E early test vehicle, Zeekr has initiated the tendering process for the EX1E model, planning to proceed to the VP (Validation Prototype) phase in September this year. The EX1E model, with a code name close to Zeekr 009 (EF1E), is expected to compete with the likes of Li Auto L9 and AITO M9 as a flagship large pure electric SUV.
From Zeekr's product plan, it is anticipated that the Grampus will be positioned as a larger SUV than the DX1E model to be launched in 2025, while the Beluga will be an MPV model. It is inferred that both vehicles will be built using Zeekr's new design language.
