Lynk & Co 08: A Bold Entry into the New Energy SUV Market

Lynk & Co has always emphasized the sporty genes in its products, but the family SUV market is also a battlefield. Thus, the Lynk & Co 08 was born. As mentioned earlier, the family-oriented Lynk & Co 08 must not be ambiguous in the space part. Although the size of the medium-sized SUV to some extent restricts its performance, it can fully cope with daily loading needs.
To be honest, the space of Lynk & Co 08 is not prominent, but after all, it is an SUV model, and the arrangements are still the same. The only regret is that the opening and size of the central armrest box are too small, and only some small items or small specifications of packaged drinks can be placed.

After ten consecutive tests, the 0-100km/h acceleration of Lynk & Co 08 is 4.80 seconds, slightly slower than the official 4.6 seconds. The difference between the best and worst results is 1.28 seconds, and the power has a slight decay phenomenon.
In the braking test, the 100-0km/h braking performance of Lynk & Co 08 is 39.59 meters. During the test, the vehicle did not show obvious body inclination, but because the braking force release is not uniform, the vehicle will occasionally deviate significantly in direction during full braking.
Apart from the best result of the first foot, the vehicle's braking performance has been above 40 meters, which is slightly inferior for a car with such a "combat" appearance.
The 0-400m acceleration test is more about the vehicle's continuous acceleration ability. Lynk & Co 08 finally finished the line in 13.29 seconds, with a tail speed of 167.48km/h. The initial acceleration of the vehicle is very powerful, but the acceleration in the middle and later stages has a significant decline.
The energy consumption test must not be absent. First, the pure electric endurance test was conducted. The WLTC official pure electric endurance of Lynk & Co 08 EM-P is 185km. Before the test, we set the air conditioning to 23 degrees automatic, the driving mode to pure electric, and the kinetic energy recovery to the highest.
During the test, we experienced high-speed roads, urban congestion roads and other sections. At the end of the test, the vehicle's average speed was 30.3km/h, and the engine was forcibly involved when the display power was 0%. In the end, the pure electric driving range of the vehicle was 195.3km, and the pure electric endurance rate reached 106%.
Subsequently, the power-off fuel consumption test was carried out. The test started at 0% power, the driving mode was super range, the kinetic energy recovery was the highest, and the air conditioning setting remained unchanged. Throughout the journey, we also experienced high-speed, congestion and other road conditions. The vehicle stopped testing after driving 110.6 kilometers, with an average speed of 31km/h, and a total of 8.03L of No. 92 gasoline was added, and the power remained at 0% after the end. In the end, we measured the power-off fuel consumption of Lynk & Co 08 to be 7.26L/100km.
After the endurance test, we used a charging pile with a rated power of 250 kilowatts to charge the vehicle. It took 71 minutes to charge the battery from 0% to 100%, and it took 29 minutes from 30% to 80%. According to the actual pure electric endurance and the amount of electricity charged, we determined that the vehicle's power consumption is 18.3kWh/100km.
In the stationary fake car anti-tail test, Lynk & Co 08 performed well, able to successfully stop in the speed range of 10-70km/h. Although the recognition timing and braking force are very challenging for the tester's psychological quality, safety is the first.
However, in the AEB ghost head project, Lynk & Co 08 played a bit abnormally, only able to reduce the collision at 30km/h. Although accompanied by sound and image prompts, and the braking force is large, but because the recognition of the fake person is too late, the final collision with the fake person occurred.
