Notice on Implementing the "Announcement" Standards and Product Rectification Work

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's Equipment Industry Development Center issued a notice on June 12, 2024, to implement the "Announcement" standards and rectify products. The notice aims to implement mandatory national standards and improve product access management requirements.

• From April 1, 2025, all newly applied and approved vehicle models must comply with the GB 13392-2023 "Road Transport Dangerous Goods Vehicle Marking" requirements.
• Starting May 1, 2025, newly produced tires must comply with the GB 9743-2024 "Passenger Car Tires" standard, excluding clauses 4.6 and 4.7, with full compliance by May 1, 2026.
• Similarly, the GB 9744-2024 "Truck Tires" standard will be implemented for newly produced tires from May 1, 2025, with full compliance by May 1, 2026.
• As of May 28, 2024, the GB 11550-2009 "Automotive Seat Head Restraint Strength Requirements and Test Methods" mandatory inspection item is canceled, with its main technical content covered by GB 15083-2019.

Call for Comments on the Automotive Industry Standard "Performance Requirements and Bench Test Methods for Automotive Hydraulic Brake Caliper Assembly"

The National Technical Committee for Automobile Standardization's Brake Subcommittee has organized the drafting of the QC/T "Performance Requirements and Bench Test Methods for Automotive Hydraulic Brake Caliper Assembly" and is now soliciting public comments until July 20, 2024.

Call for Comments on Three Recommended National Standards: "Passenger Car Straight-Line Braking on Opposite-Direction Road Surface Stability Test Method" and Others

The Vehicle Dynamics Subcommittee of the National Technical Committee for Automobile Standardization has completed three recommended national standards for public comment, including methods for testing vehicle stability during straight-line braking on opposite-direction road surfaces and the stopping distance of commercial vehicles with ABS.
