Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's Latest "Car Show": A Sneak Peek at 11 Heavyweight Cars Including the New Wuling Hongguang and BYD Seal 07

Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) of China has released the declaration information for the 384th batch of new vehicles. Unlike previous batches, this time the number of new vehicles is relatively small, but it still includes popular products such as the new Wuling Hongguang, Lynk & Co Z10, Formula Leopard 3, and Le Dao L60.

BYD Seal 07 DM-i

A renamed product of the current Seal DM-i, with adjustments in details and power. After the unification of vehicle naming on the Ocean Network, the names of previous products are gradually being changed. In the future, products like the Seagull and Dolphin are expected to be renamed as well. The new Seal 07 DM-i maintains the same design and size as the current model, but the rear uses a new BYD logo, without the "Build your dream" slogan. The engine still uses 1.5L and 1.5T types, but the parameters of the engine and electric motor have all been adjusted, and it is expected to introduce the DM5.0 technology.

BYD Song L DM-i

A hybrid version of the Song L, but unlike the pure electric version, the new car is built on a new platform, adopting the Dragon Face design language, equipped with a large blackened air intake grille, decorated with chrome, which is very imposing. The rear is equipped with a through-type taillight, with six "dragon scale" shapes inside, which should not disappoint everyone in terms of visual effect and recognition when lit at night. The new car will be equipped with a plug-in hybrid system composed of a 1.5L engine and an electric motor, with a maximum engine power of 74 kilowatts.

Formula Leopard 3

A new entry-level product of BYD's Formula Leopard, using pure electric drive. In terms of appearance, the new car basically continues the design elements of the previous SUPER 3 concept car. Although the front is a closed type commonly used for pure electricity, it still outlines an "X" shape through a black panel and surround, with sharp matrix headlights and a prominent bumper, making the whole car look very domineering. The rear is equipped with a "little schoolbag", and the rear surround and the two side air ducts are very exaggerated, with a good recognition. The new car uses a four-wheel drive dual-motor, with a front motor maximum power of 110 kilowatts and a rear motor maximum power of 200 kilowatts.
