Attention for Prospective Car Buyers! Configuration Adjustments for These 20 Models Coming Soon

Recently, it has been revealed that BMW will adjust the configurations of over 20 models from July to September, affecting popular products such as the 3 Series, 5 Series, X1, and X5. Many domestically produced or sold models will be impacted as new models are expected to be produced in July, August, and September. Here is a summary of these products for those planning to purchase BMW products.

Domestic Models

The BMW 3 Series will be streamlined from 9 to 5 models, including 3 long-wheelbase versions and 2 standard-wheelbase versions, with the discontinuation of the 320i, 320Li, 325Li Night Edition, and all-wheel-drive versions. New car paint colors will be added, such as Extreme Blue and Brooklyn Grey, while Portimão Blue and Melbourne Red will be discontinued. The new models are also expected to feature new steering wheels, air vents, and crystal gear levers.

For the BMW 5 Series and i5, some models will have new configurations added. Models equipped with the Driving Assistant Professional will have a new ramp assistance feature, and the ambient lighting on the welcome pedals of luxury package models will change from orange to white.

The BMW X1 and iX1 will have a variety of new optional packages, such as the Driving Assistant Professional package, the Parking Assistant Plus package, the Intelligent Connected Driving Cockpit package, and Comfort packages.

The BMW X5 will see the addition of a ramp assistance feature in models equipped with the Driving Assistant Professional, as well as new optional carbon fiber interiors and high-gloss black exterior components, while the brown wood trim option will be discontinued.

Import Models

For the BMW 2 Series, new car paint colors will be added, and the 225i will have a new M Perform Tex fabric with suede material. The interior will also feature a new high-quality brushed aluminum trim and a new light fine-line wood trim with an open-pore material. The wheel design and various optional parts will be adjusted.

The BMW 4 Series will no longer have the M logo on the rear calipers. The BMW 8 Series will make the custom Merino extended leather seats standard and discontinue the Sunset Orange car paint and the Intelligent Touch Key.

The BMW X2 and BMW X6 will no longer offer digital keys and keyless entry, providing only one physical key. The BMW X7 will start production of new models in August, with some models adding the Driving Assistant Professional, Comfort package, Magic Carpet Ride air suspension, Active Steering, aluminum roof rack, and M Performance Sport package.

The flagship electric vehicle, the BMW iX, will also have significant changes in the new models produced in July, with the addition of new assistance features for the Pro version equipped with the Driving Assistant and a reduction to one physical key.

Performance Models

The BMW M2 will add new car paint colors, seat material combinations, and new wheel designs, with carbon fiber interiors becoming standard. The BMW M3 will introduce new wheel designs and adjust interior trims. The BMW X5 M and X6 M will reduce to one physical key, with the Pro version of the Driving Assistant adding ramp assistance features and the ETC automatic payment system becoming standard.

The performance electric vehicle, the BMW XM, will also reduce to one physical key, with the ramp assistance feature included from the factory. The XM 50e model will add a standard ETC automatic payment system and new optional wheels.
