Automotive Export Report for June 2024

According to the analysis by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, the export of automobiles continued to grow rapidly on a year-over-year basis in June 2024.

Key Highlights:

• June 2024: Automobile exports reached 485,000 units, a 0.7% increase month-on-month and a 26.9% increase year-on-year.
• 1st Half of 2024: Automobile exports totaled 2,793,000 units, a 30.5% increase year-on-year.
• Passenger Cars: Exported 403,000 units in June, a 1.4% increase month-on-month and a 29.1% increase year-on-year.
• Commercial Vehicles: Exported 82,000 units in June, a 2.5% decrease month-on-month but a 16.9% increase year-on-year.
• Traditional Fuel Vehicles: Exported 399,000 units in June, a 4.2% increase month-on-month and a 31.1% increase year-on-year.
• New Energy Vehicles: Exported 86,000 units in June, a 13.2% decrease month-on-month but a 10.3% increase year-on-year.
