Audi Q6 e-tron RS High-Performance Version

A New Era of Electric Performance

Audi and FAW are set to launch a brand new pure electric SUV this year—the Q6L e-tron, a localized version developed specifically for the Chinese market. However, in the European market, Audi is not only unveiling the Q6 e-tron (standard version) and SQ6 e-tron (sport version) but also introducing a more powerful RS Q6 e-tron through the RS Sport brand.

It is reported that this high-performance pure electric SUV is based on the PPE electric vehicle platform co-developed by Audi and Porsche. With an 800V high-voltage electrical architecture and dual motors, the total power may reach 639 horsepower, fully aligning with the top-of-the-line Porsche Macan Turbo, which can "break a hundred" in just 3.3 seconds. The current domestic guide price is 968,000 yuan.

From previous spy photos, although the RS Q6 e-tron test car is covered with tight camouflage, the overall external outline is basically the same as the Q6 e-tron, including the multi-edged front grille design (only retaining the outline, without a cooling mesh), as well as split headlights and through-type taillights, all of which are very recognizable. The focus is on the three-electric system, where the car will use a more powerful permanent magnet synchronous motor drive, with dual front and rear motors capable of up to 470kW of total power output, which is 90kW higher than the SQ6 e-tron's 380kW. The overall acceleration time from 0 to 100km/h is expected to be compressed to 3.3 seconds, just like the Porsche Macan EV Turbo.

If this car is fortunate enough to be introduced to the Chinese market, it is expected to use high-performance lithium battery packs provided by CATL. Referring to the Porsche Macan EV Turbo, its capacity is 100kWh, and the pure electric range under WLTP standards is 518km.
