Weekly Vehicle Data Analysis of "Xing" Certification

The second week of June 2024 saw the submission of "Xing" certification statistical data based on the national standard, with a total of 10,784 vehicles inspected. Among them, 9,511 vehicles (approximately 88%) met the "Xing" certification standards, and 6,160 vehicles (about 57%) met the group standard. This week's reported data decreased by about 2% compared to last week and by approximately 5% compared to the same period in 2023, with a slight decline in vehicle condition data quality compared to last week.

Vehicle Mileage Distribution

Regarding the uploaded vehicle mileage data for the week, there was a slight decrease of about 1% in the "nearly new" vehicles with 1-30,000 km, while the "relatively new" vehicles with 30,000-50,000 km remained consistent with the previous week. The "cost-effective" vehicles with 50,000-100,000 km saw an increase of 1%, and the "older" vehicles with over 100,000 km remained stable.

Regional Data Reporting

Looking at the regional reports, there has been a divergence in growth. Hubei, Hunan, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Sichuan, Shandong, Guizhou, and Hebei have all seen an increase compared to last week, while other regions have reported a decrease.

"Xing" Certification is a traceable management system for the quality information of certified used cars launched by the China Automobile Circulation Association. It is based on the national standard "Used Car Appraisal and Evaluation Technical Specification" and the group standard "Passenger Car Appraisal and Evaluation Technical Specification". It aims to establish an industry-unified standard for vehicle condition traceability and dispute review mechanisms, helping to build a bridge of trust between used car businesses and consumers, and effectively protecting the legal rights and interests of all parties in the used car consumption process.
