On June 16th, to better respond to the national policy of "Old for New" for cars, the launch event of "616 Car Renewal Day" by JD Auto was held in Beijing with the theme of "Uniting the Power of Old for New to Jointly Drive the Upgrade of Automobile Consumption". The event was guided by the China Automobile Dealers Association, co-hosted by JD Auto, China Automobile News, and Auto Observation, and gathered representatives from the Ministry of Commerce, China Automobile Dealers Association, and more than 40 car brands and ecological partner enterprises to discuss how to solve the bottlenecks and difficulties in the process of old for new, better involve consumers, and promote the healthy development of the entire automotive industry chain. JD Auto announced at the meeting that it will hold 30 JD Auto Grand Gatherings nationwide this year and will increase to 100 by 2025, accelerating the layout of the old for new in the sinking market!

Data shows that by the end of 2023, the number of passenger cars in our country reached 280 million, of which about 110 million are in the core replacement peak period. Since this year, the State Council and various ministries have introduced a series of policies to promote the old for new. Song Yingjie, a researcher from the Automobile Circulation Office of the Market Operation and Consumption Department of the Ministry of Commerce, said that cars are the "mainstay" of the consumer market, and promoting the old for new is very promising and significant. "In the policy design and implementation process, we insist on promoting the scrapping and replacement update as one, the central finance focuses on supporting the scrapping update, and encourages localities to carry out replacement updates."

Song Tao from the China Automobile Dealers Association pointed out in his speech that the China Automobile Dealers Association also actively responds to and implements the deployment of the Ministry of Commerce, and places promoting car consumption in the priority position of industry work, deeply explores the potential and potential of updates, and focuses on doing three aspects of work: First, it has held the China Automobile Consumption Forum, building a professional platform for industry enterprises to judge consumption trends; Second, it has cooperated with various places to hold the China Automobile Consumption Festival series of activities, which have been successfully held in Wuxi, Jinan, Beijing, Linyi, Changchun, Shaoxing, Shenyang, Dongguan, Ningbo, Hainan, and other places with good results, and it is expected to organize more than 400 promotional activities throughout the year; Third, it has launched a series of association products and services to empower enterprises around promoting consumption. The association will give full play to the platform role of the industry organization, as always, work with all parties in the industry chain to facilitate the entire car consumption chain, help dealer partners transform, and provide more convenience and benefits to consumers. The person in charge of JD Auto's related business said that it will focus on expanding the high potential sinking market, integrating the rights and interests of the old for new that can be seen and touched, using JD's brand influence, user base, and multi-industry capabilities, to jointly promote the "JD Auto Grand Gathering" event with governments at all levels, the China Automobile Dealers Association, OEMs, dealers, cross-border brands, and others, to accelerate the landing of the event. Since this year, JD Auto has held many activities in Suqian, Jinan, Kunshan, and other places, and the two upcoming activities will be held in Langfang, Hebei, and Fuqing, Fujian. By 2025, JD Auto will hold 100 JD Auto Grand Gatherings in 50 cities nationwide.
