Recently, the Lexus LBX Morizo RR production model made its debut. This car is equipped with the same 1.6T turbocharged inline-three engine as the Toyota GR YARiS. The name "Morizo" comes from a temporary substitute name used by Toyota Chairman Akio Toyoda in competitions. The new car is priced at $41,600 (approximately 301,000 RMB), and there is also a custom model limited to 100 units, priced at $46,000 (approximately 333,000 RMB). The car is expected to start delivery in Japan in August.

Exterior Design

The production model basically continues the design of the concept car, with an X-shaped front face, a large-sized grille, and overall blackening design, full of performance attributes. The car is also equipped with 19-inch forged wheels and 235/45 R19 tires. Compared to the regular model, the car is 20mm wider and the body height is reduced by 10mm, with the overall size between the GR Yaris and the GR Corolla.

Interior Design

The car offers a variety of two-tone color schemes to choose from, and the overall design still retains the simple and high-quality interior atmosphere of Lexus. The custom model will provide special interior colors, seat materials, and embroidery patterns, etc. In addition, the car's instrument panel will also adopt a more performance-oriented UI interface design.

Power Performance

The new car will be equipped with a 1.6T turbocharged three-cylinder engine, with a maximum power of 224 kilowatts and a maximum torque of 400 Newton meters, with a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 5.2 seconds. The transmission system will match a 6-speed manual gearbox and an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The weight of the manual gearbox model is 1440kg, and the weight of the automatic gearbox model is increased by 30kg.
