Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and the Ministry of Transport jointly announced the list of pilot cities for the "Vehicle-Road-Cloud Integration" application of intelligent connected vehicles, with 20 cities (consortiums) making the list. Pilot cities are required to solidly advance construction tasks according to the pilot work plan, establish and improve coordination mechanisms, and implement financial and other safeguard measures to ensure the effectiveness of the pilot work and to accelerate the formation of replicable and promotable experiences.

According to the arrangement of the notice on carrying out the pilot work of the "Vehicle-Road-Cloud Integration" application of intelligent connected vehicles (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology [2023] No. 268), based on voluntary declaration and organizational assessment, 20 cities (consortiums) were determined as pilot cities for the "Vehicle-Road-Cloud Integration" application of intelligent connected vehicles (see the attachment for the list). Each pilot city should promptly improve the pilot work plan and officially file it with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and the Ministry of Transport.

🔍 Provincial-level competent departments of various regions are required to increase policy support for pilot cities, strengthen the tracking and accountability of pilot work, and promptly summarize the progress of work, experience and practices, and typical cases, and report to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and the Ministry of Transport before the end of March each year.
